Bawe Island in Zanzibar is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere. The island, just a short boat ride from the main island of Zanzibar, offers an idyllic escape with its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical surroundings. The accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. We stayed at a charming beachfront resort where the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered stunning views of the ocean. The highlight of our stay was the island’s natural beauty. The food was also a major standout. Fresh seafood, flavorful local dishes, and a variety of international options were all beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a celebration of the region’s rich culinary heritage. Bawe Island is a peaceful paradise that offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and natural beauty. Staff were friendly, right from the shuttle driver to housekeeping. They gave recommendations on recreational activities and facilitated them kindly. It was a brief stay but a wonderful one. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area was gorgeous and lush for an airport hotel.

Everything!! This hotel was an oasis. Beautiful, clean room with air conditioning and mosquito net over the old Zanzibar bed. Own bathroom with shampoo, body wash and body lotion and a Zanzibar spice soap for hands. Nice small pool to take a swim in. Amazing, helpful staff!!! Beautiful, tranquil garden to chill in. Delicious breakfast with coffee, fresh fruits, fresh juice and a choice of eggs, pancakes, yoghurt (I had it all...). There was nothing that could have been better at this place. I wish I could have stayed a week.

Amazing hotel ! The staff is very nice and extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is so relaxing with an amazing sunset view, the breakfast buffet comes with a large choice and everything is very delicious. The location is very practical. The access to the beach is amazing as well and we appreciate how the security guards are very careful. Would definitely recommend !
