The setting was beautiful and the grounds so well maintained. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable in every way. The staff were welcoming on check in, and wherever we were, they were friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was exceptional and we couldn’t find any aspect of our stay that could have been improved on.

Great find. Family backpacker unit. Had a small kitchen space for basic food prep. Bar is a great place to socialize, play pool, climb a wall or even have a Jacuzzi. Food is also available to purchase. Kids enjoyed the resident cats floating around too.

Situated in the foothills of the Drakenberg Escarpment, Wild Horses Lodge features a tranquil garden with an outdoor pool overlooking the Sterkfontein Dam.
