Great location with a 180 degree view of the beach and mountains. The natural swimming pool was fantastic after a swim in the ocean . The aircon was great and hot showers with heaps of pressure . Friendly staff and fresh breakfast .

Loved the atmosphere and vibe. The staff is really warm and chill. Lots of nature around and a good chance to swim and hike. This is a place where you can rest and charge your batteries or socialize with other people. There is a bus going right down the road but i didn't use it so i don't know about the schedules.

Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub. The location was amazing and exclusive. The hotel offers a boat transfer from Angra dos Reís directly to the hotel once a day for a fair price (less than the competitors in the area), which was timely and comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, they greeted us at the dock and showed us everything around the beautiful grounds. The staff even helped us reserve nearby scuba diving and we had an unforgettable experience! We also enjoyed the hotel’s free kayaks and snorkeling gear; we went out to nearby beaches with incredible sea life (including Lagoa Azul) and to watch the sunset which was absolutely breath taking. It’s truly a 10/10 paradise and I can’t wait to return!

Set in a colonial-style building, this guesthouse sits in Paraty historical centre. It is 600 metres from Paraty Pier, offering an outdoor pool, bar, sauna and air-conditioned accommodations. Great Pool area Fantastic food (highly recommended) Very relaxing atmosphere We stayed for 6 days with the family (2 adults + one 5 year old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They were also very accomodating to the needs of our little one which was very much appreciated by us.

Pousada Do Ouro is a pleasant 18th century house in the historical region of Paraty. Just a 10-minute walk from Pontal Beach. Excellent location just a couple of blocks away from the main town square and an easy walk to the bus station. The buildings, facilities and the room itself are all very well-restored and well-maintained, which definitely adds to the charm of the pousada and makes for a more relaxing place to come back to. Nice touch to have chocolate placed on your bed every day. There are many quaint seating areas located throughout the property for you to relax in. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome - You really appreciate the personalised service they provide to help make your stay more pleasant. Thanks in particular to Kauã, Filipe and Alessandra at the front desk, who were all especially helpful. The breakfast service is also fantastic, giving you the option to have some food made to order. Even for the buffet side the food is of a high quality, including the homemade yoghurt, and something as typical as pineapple slices were elevated by adding lime zest on top. Overall, you may pay a bit more to stay here than many other places in town, but it's well spent.
