The spa area and sauna were wonderful and very relaxing. The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit off from the center and therefore very quiet and perfect for morning walks. There was a bus stop at the location, so it was easy to get to the lifts if one didn't want to walk.

On the sunny plateau of Melchsee-Frutt in the Swiss Alps, 1,920 meters above sea level, this hotel features a spa and an open-air lounge with mountain views. Stöckalp SMF Ski Lift is 150 metres away. We had an amazing stay at Frutt Mountain (Lago Lodge)! The hotel was incredibly kid-friendly and baby-friendly, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. For the kids, there was a game room with a bowling alley, a cinema room, and even Lego plates at the kids’ buffet – such a fun touch! For our baby, they provided everything we needed, including a baby bathtub, baby body wash, diapers, and wipes. At dinner, they even had a special infant chair for babies who can’t hold their heads up yet – we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness. The whole place was spotless and very well organized. The buffet and sit-down dinner were both extremely delicious. The staff made our stay extra special – Lucca, the manager, was incredibly helpful, our server Stefan was wonderful, and the two ladies at the front desk were so kind. Our room had a breathtaking view, as if we were staying right inside a Scottish loch. Walking around the lake and seeing the cows nearby was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children. We’ll definitely be back!

Το Hotel Waldegg - Adults βρίσκεται σε υπερυψωμένη τοποθεσία με νότιο προσανατολισμό στο Engelberg. Προσφέρει πανοραμική θέα στο βουνό, σπα με εσωτερική πισίνα και εστιατόριο. The service was exceptional - from a relaxed glass of champagne on arrival to help putting chains on our car tyres on departure. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated with a stunning view of the mountains and Engelberg. We ate at the Thai restaurant which offers outstanding food and at the European restaurant which has a small but well cooked menu. Breakfast was plentiful with options for high end warm dishes. The infinity pool was amazing with various jets and a separate warmer jacuzzi. The outdoor hot tub and sauna in a cable car cabin felt especially luxurious, surrounded by snow and Christmas lights. The indoor spa (2 saunas, steam room and special showers) is quite small, but during our stay we had it mostly to ourselves. For a romantic and relaxing short stay, it was perfect and we plan to come again!

Perfect place to stay, there is everything needed in the chalet (even more). It is very clean and comfortable. The hosts provide very clear information.

The view from the hotel above Engelberg 😍 the restorant and the food! The fondue was not in the menu but the staff prepared it for us anyway 🫶

A fantastic apart-hotel with excellent family-friendly facilities for children of all ages. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always ready to help.

Αυτό το κομψό ξενοδοχείο απέχει μόλις 15 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από τη Λουκέρνη και 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό. Awesome property at the right location. Train station is 5 mins walk, few good restaurants within 5 mins walk. Plenty of parking space available. Staff was very good and helpful. I would definitely stay here if I get another chance in life 😀
