(By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The hospitality and care for the wellness of their guests go beyond expectations and anything I have ever experienced in a hotel. From the first moment of walking through the doors and being greeted by May and HeiMi (the cat), I felt the warmness of stepping foot into Bivou-instantly, I was at a place that felt like home. Right when we stepped through the threshold, we were offered homemade bread (that I could still taste even now) and some delicious apple tea. The ayis (aunties) helped move our heavy luggage into the beautiful room, and spent time introducing the activities in the hotel, activities we could do around Lijiang, and different hikes that we could go on. Our room was so COMFORTABLE - high ceilings, spacious bathroom with a rain shower, clean and woodsy interior, and firm beds with warming mats. The welcome package included lotion, lip balm, and the most comprehensive maps of Lijiang, as well as a binder filled with activities to do. The activities weren't your typical "tourist" activities but they were incredibly curated, local gems like biking to Baishi village and going to see the Naxi orchestra (Nomi helped booked for us! Thank you!). The owner of Bivou is so fun and helpful - she gave us a map for Tiger Leaping Gorge and even helped us arrange a hotel on the trail! For a lot of my stay in Lijiang, I was sick (some food poisoning), but the ayis, especially May, kept me alive - not even exaggerating. They went out of their way to cook porridge for me, recommended and brewed red tea for my stomach ache, delivered homemade soup and dumplings up to the room, and changed the bed sheets at midnight for us. The Bivou cafe was the ONLY place I trusted to eat at because I wasn't feeling well. The food is so healthy, fresh, homecooked with love, and absolutely healing. Bivou is not your typical boutique hotel, not the Banyan, nor the Four Seasons.

Making the traditional modern, the luxurious InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort presents beautiful Nakhi courtyard architecture, surrounded by lush greenery. Great location with good service

It was newlt renovated. The lift is huge! The rooftop pool is great!! Breakfast was really good. Check out was easier. Room and washrooms are incredible.

The hotel is beautiful from the moment the car pulls up out the front. It's huge with 420 rooms. My rooms was quite a walk from the lift was there was a view everywhere. The room was quite large and had everything I needed to enjoy my 4 nights.

Situated in Kunming among the greeneries, a 4-minute drive from Haigeng Park, HUALUXE Hotels & Resorts Kunming has a fitness centre and garden. Clean, nice resort. Good breakfast buffet. Nice free tea ceremony in the lobby. Friendly staff. Dinner location is slightly without a nice atmosphere. Location is close to nature. Far from the centers, shops, restaurants etc. but easy to take a taxi. Hotel helps you arrange.

Shangri-La Resort, Shangri-La is managed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, offering comprehensive services and 228 cosy and bright guest rooms between 2nd to 9th floors. ​We had a fantastic stay at the Shangri-La resort and would highly recommend it! ​From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's grandeur and beautiful decor. Our room was lovely—it was well-decorated, clean, and so cozy. We especially loved the high-quality amenities and the stunning view of the mountains and town. ​The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. There were so many delicious options, and we really enjoyed the variety. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help. While some didn't speak much English, we easily communicated using a translation app, and it was no problem at all. ​One of the most thoughtful things they did was surprise a family member with a birthday cake and a card. It was such a special touch that really showed their incredible hospitality. ​The resort is also in a great location. It was just a quick Didi ride to the ancient town, or a nice short walk if we felt like strolling. Plus, they even offer a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport or train station if you book it in advance. ​Overall, we had a truly wonderful time and can't say enough good things about our experience!

With guestrooms scattered in the foot or mid-levels of snow mountains, Jinmao Hotel Lijiang has been designed to form a street scene similar to those found in the old city of Lijiang, where guests can... Such a beautiful hotel. The scenery is amazing from every angle. The restaurants and bakery on site were excellent - we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and they were able to arrange a cake with candles at very short notice and even delivered a complimentary cake to our room later in the evening! Breakfast buffet had a great spread of western and Asian foods. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo and animal feeding and complimentary hotel activities such as tie dyeing. Overall, an amazing stay.

Everything was amazing!! Especially the breakfast and the staff! The rooms are comfortable and the manager of the hotel who treated us like family. Το Jayden NAXI Healing Lodge臣安纳西疗愈小院 - Namaste έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Λιγιάνγκ. The hosts Carol and Johnson were extremely accommodating with our late check-in, going out of their way to help. They were also extremely helpful in our questions about local customs and requirements providing us with very helpful information. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious.
