It was amazing! We were so impressed of this outstanding place! Perfect breakfast, very nice and clean room (we had the Deluxe Room), with an impressing balcony including sea view, so friendly personnel, great pools and a huge selection of many activities. This place leaves nothing to be desired. Our future hotels will be struggle about keeping up with this one ;-)

Sunset Shack was in a great location, close to the beach, short walk to the shops and more restaurants. The room was spacious, comfy beds and amazing shower. The hotel/bungalows are quiet and the Al Chile restaurant joined to the hotel is great. We were able to order and eat by the pool.

Free Wi-Fi access is available, as well as free breakfast service. incredible relaxed staff .. everyone seems to enjoy to work there .. good atmosphere … good location … breakfast is mediocre - mostly american middle class customers

Rio Perdido is located just a 45-minute drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport and boasts 18 km of on-site hiking trails and a thermal river with hot-spring pools. This lodge is a treasure. Bungalows of different sizes and facilities are scattered throughout the forest. We stayed in the spacious centre bungalows with large panoramic windows overlooking the forest, a seating area and an outdoor shower. All furnished to a high standard, wonderful bed and bed linen. There is an (empty) fridge and daily small fresh bottles of water and air conditioning. We only met very friendly and helpful people. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and the location above the gorge, the beautiful architecture and design do the rest. We stayed at the lodge at the beginning of December. At this time of year, the dry forest is full of leaves and particularly beautiful. You should know that this is not the case at the end of the dry season. The food was very good and the selection of dishes offers enough variety even if you are there for several days. From our point of view, the price-performance ratio is also good. The (cold and warm) pools and the thermal river where you can enjoy the warm water in a natural environment are wonderful. There are monkeys but unfortunately few other animals, especially few birds compared to other areas in Costa Rica. However, this is due to the dry forest ecosystem. Due to its proximity to the airport in Liberia, the lodge is a good place to end a trip to Costa Rica.

This property is a beachfront hotel that has an outdoor pool, spa facilities and massage services. It also features meeting rooms, gardens and on-site shops. The location, atmosphere and staff were perfect. The general relaxed friendly vibe was consistent from the moment we entered the hotel to the minute we left. You feel like the employees are well trained, well treated and well selected. They have genui9ne pride and love for their jobs.

This adults-only boutique hotel offers stylish accommodations with ocean views and tropical gardens. Jardin del Eden also features a private beach garden located in the middle of Tamarindo beach. We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is perfectly located with an amazing pool and private bar area on the beach. The staff were very friendly at reception, in the restaurant and especially Kevin at the beach bar. The breakfast and dinners we had were excellent. A definite must if you are in Tamarindo!

Borinquen Thermal Resort is located in Rincon de la Vieja. If features Spanish-rustic décor villas, bungalows and Junior Suites, each of them featuring a private balcony with garden views. Beautiful place great facilities. Loved horseback riding

The rooms are exquisitely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. They offer complimentary yoga classes- that are super nice. They have a sauna and an ice bath- which we very much enjoyed. The pools are very nice as well. Basically, one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Costa Rica. The location is also very nice. Plenty of beaches and restaurants nearby, and the location is very lively.
