This hotel was the true gem of our trip to Costa Rica! Our plans were flexible and we decided to stay again in Manuel Antonio and this is when we found out about Mountain Top Hotel, which has THE BEST price-benefit ratio The beds are suuuuuuper comfortable, the views are breathtaking, the fact that you have a tour included is mind-blowing and they also have a really good breakfast! We did our tour with Jario, who was super nice, could speak very good Portuguese and who thought us A LOT about both fauna and flora of the area. We were able to spot quite a lot of wildlife (including the black and green poisonous frog!), which was the cherry on the top.

This was one of the best stays we have ever had. Every detail was so peaceful and refreshing. Room was cozy and had everything you might need including AC. Pool and views were UNREAL GORGEOUS! All of our meals (breakfast & dinner) were exceptional quality and taste. Our host Yaan will forever be remembered!! The yoga class we attended with him was one of the most informative and resetting I have ever experienced. Also we received the best massages of our lives. The location felt very local but in a good way. We didn't have to bother with tons of other tourists. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will be coming back. I would also note we did all the suggested excursions and had a wonderful time on all.

Great location, centrally located if you are there for the waves. Chill apartment 5 minute walk to the beach ( or less). Awesome host, super responsive and easy to chat with. 5 gold stars !

We loved the gardens, the home, the rooms, the lovely dogs Chika and Alaca, the great breakfast Ana made every day - how perfectly clean and serene everything was! We also had a sloth visitor (Alicia) in the backyard every day! I was so happy here I wished I could stay longer! We had a great stay and would love to visit again. Cannot recommend Ana’s place enough.

This place is a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility. The log cabin style rooms are really well layed out with great bathrooms with hot water and a cute little kitchen and fridge. They have high quality soaps and hair products. The balcony and hammock were an awesome place to hang out and watch the waves down below. They seem to have thought of all the little things like higher quality toilet paper and an umbrella to use and lots of window shades. The yoga studio is amazing and they run 4 classes a day so it’s easy to find one that fits your schedule with lots of different and awesome teachers. The cafe serves healthy and delicious food and has a great atmosphere with chill vibe overlooking the pacific! The on site owners and all the staff are amazing and friendly!

Located 5 minutes' drive from Santa Elena town centre, and 4.9 miles from Monteverde, Costa Rica. Fantastic stay at Cala Lodge, in a very comfortable suite with beautiful view, helpful staff and good location: You feel in the middle of the nature, can even see many small animals, and you are a few minutes walks from restaurants and shops.

Hotel Belmar is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica, features a unique restaurant with on-site brewery and a juice bar; also it has an organic garden and certification on sustainability. The stay at Hotel Belmar was really something special. I stayed twice at this place during our road trip through Costa Rica. The pure nature of Monteverde, the architecture of the hotel, and also the atmosphere of the hotel make this really a special place and we had no other place in Costa Rica where we felt like at home as we did here. I did a tour to the Madre Tierra farm with my daughter and a horseback ride. It was such a beautiful experience we will never forget. The breakfast and dinner was perfect and the restaurant is so beautiful with a remarkable view over the cloud forest. We will really miss this place as it sparked magic and means something to us.
