Golf Hotel Viborg enjoys a tranquil setting by Søndersø Lake, a 10-minute walk from Viborg Cathedral. It offers free on-site parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Charming hotel by the lake. The rooms (we had 2) were spacious and nicely decorated with Danish furniture. Great views over the lake from the breakfast table. We enjoyed the spa with indoor swimming, an outdoor hot Jacuzzi, a Viking shower (cold water bucket), a sauna, and a steam bath (pic from our hotel room shows the outdoor spa facilities). It turned to a rainy day, so heading to Mønsted Kalkgruber (lime mines) was terrific and one of the highlights of our tour. Endless caves with magical light. Kids and adults loved it.

Brandnew cabin, bunkbeds with good mattresses. Cozy and clean. Situated next to a sport center in town. I have been positively surprised and would come back. I have been staying 4 nights in the area. I had first booked a Hotel in Viborg as I needed to have a charger of a big Danish company close by. That was not provided at the cabin. But after the 3 nights I needed to extend my trip. As the Hotel was not great and beds were really bad I booked a night at the cabin. I regretted, that i had not done it in the first place and taken a longer way to charge the car.
