Beautifully located hotel at the picturesque Danish coast. The hotel has gone through a modernisation and features a rather big spa (indoor and outdoor pools, three different saunas). The highlight for the restaurant was the breakfast although we enjoyed our dinner very much (they book a table just in case for every hotel guest). The rooms we had on the third floor had huge windows overlooking the beautiful coastline. The beds were super comfortable however a tad too soft if you are used with firmer mattresses.

Kurhotel Skodsborg offers two restaurants on site and free parking back of the hotel after registration of your license plate in the hotel reception. The spa features a sauna and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The lobby spaces were very cozy and well-designed.

The late 19th century Gilleleje Badehotel is located in the Zealand town Gilleleje, right in front of the ocean and Gilleleje Beach. The hotel is right out to the sea and invites to relax time with long walks. It is the second time we stay here. It is so cozy and authentic to its style. The personeel is very friendly and service minded.

Offering a private beach, this hotel is set on the shores of the Øresund Strait, just 1 km from Kronborg Castle. Rates include free casino admission, free parking and free WiFi access. We were celebrating our wedding at the hotel and stayed there with our guests for several nights. We had a great time and lovely experience there. I would especially recommend the "afternoon tea" experience. Breakfast was very good with a rich choice of options. I would also highly recommend to take the room with a sea view. This grand 18th-century independent hotel property is next to Kokkedal Golf Club and 19 mi north from Copenhagen. Excellent food for both the dinner and breakfast. Limited in selection but all good quality.
