The villagers are really friendly and the host, Ricardo, is such a nice guy. His suggestions for excursions were spot on. This has been the most relaxing, stress free holiday in such a long time. Overlooking the Huecar gorge and offering a spa, this hotel is housed in a charming, 18th-century building set in the historic heart of Cuenca. I enjoyed the location of the hotel. The room had a beautiful view of the valley. The optional breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were comfortable with large comfortable beds. The toiletries were fabricated by them. The food was fantastic. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The wine was lovely. We were given 2 bottles of wine free of charge on checking out.

Has a pretty outdoor courtyard connected to the dining room and living room.
