The hosts Lilly and Simon are the most wonderful people ever. Kind souls that can make your stay here in Fiji a truly one of a kind experience. Staying at the salt lake lodge didn't feel like a hotel or resort, but instead felt like you got to experience how it would feel to live in a Fijian family. Not only were the people great but the food was extraordinary. They both could be in a Michelin star restaurant with the food they provided. We would also recommend doin LOVO with them, which is a traditional grill on an campfire of which I shared photos of. The location itself for us was also a 10/10 because we love being surrounded in nature, and what ever window you looked out from was the beautiful environment, even from the shower you could see the river. We could not recommend this place more if we wanted to. I hope your experience will be as beautiful as ours

When we got inside, we had a very warm welcome from the staff and were treated intimately and personally, a trend which continued throughout our stay. Each day was as relaxing or adventurous as we wished, with easy to engage with daily activities or the ability to stay secluded in our private villa. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful, and made every effort so we could stay unstressed. The food was excellent, especially the integration of local crops in innovative new ways such as cassava mash. Being able to select ahead of time was an efficient way of not having to think later in the day. Our villa was kept in great condition by staff, and we were supplied with everything we needed to be comfortable. An incredible place to stay, can’t recommend it enough.
