We loved this hotel from top to bottom: the beautifully-styled and comfortable room, the spacious and elegant bar, the light and attractive restaurant (we ate twice in La Brasserie), the excellent dinners and breakfast, the great sauna and spa complex and the extensive gardens which you can wander round and enjoy. The staff were all charming and helpful, with a 'can do' attitude. We also loved the way the enchanted forest theme is brought into the hotel. It made our view from the room, looking through trees, even more entrancing. We can't wait to go back.

Situated within walking distance of the medieval centre of Vannes, the hotel is decorated in an Asian-style setting with exotic woodwork and a Japanese garden. It features a private spa and you can participate in yoga or meditation classes. When we arrived, we found that they had upgraded us to a room with a private patio, which was lovely. We found everything to be very comfortable and the hotel to be amazingly quiet.

The kitchen - really well equipped - entertaining area and garden areas are just what we hoped for. Very clean linen and bedrooms, as were the en-suite facilities. Some hosts leave minimal toilet paper and clear out the cupboards between guests but not Anne-Sophie and Fabrice. Plenty of toilet paper, salt, pepper and spices etc. The hosts were really welcoming and super responsive, we would definitely go back.
