Staff is very helpful and speak excellent english. Parking is not easy, but hotel parking inside gates is appreciated. Great beds.

Located on the bank of Lake Annecy, Abbaye de Talloires offers comfortable accommodation with cultural heritage and a gourmet restaurant. There is free private parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. This place has views unlike any other hotel! It was one of the most lovely and whimsical places I’ve ever stayed. Behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain which seems to always have paragliding happening. The other side is the beautiful lake where you can sit on chairs right next to the water while you eat and drink wine. The character and history of the building was beautiful. The staff was excellent, especially the waiters and waitresses. I am vegan and my boyfriend vegetarian, they were more than happy to make us amazing meals! There is a plant based menu for dinner as well which we were so happy to see. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented. They have a nice parking lot for people who drive there and have bikes you can rent which I highly recommend. We will definitely try to return soon!
