John, the owner, was very kind and available when we needed him. The house is really big and it has everything you may possibly need for your stay. The place was also clean and close to many shops, restaurants, and other fabulous villages! We are a couple with four small children and we definitely felt at home!

St John's Lodge is an award-winning guest house situated between Windermere village and the Lake at Bowness Bay. Perfect stay. Rich welcomed us with a big smile and lots of useful info. Great value for money! Clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. Amazing breakfast! We loved it ❤️

In a peaceful residential area of Windermere, this friendly guest house is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bowness in the Lake District is a 10-minute walk away. Thank you so much Jane and Mark for your warm hospitality during my stay, starting by allowing me for check in before 12am, upgrading room present and also for the ginger cake treat, I got the biggest room with huge view of the backyard which I enjoyed it so much. Overall room and toilet are super clean with toiletries, the shower area is a lot spacious than I expected. Very recommend 😎👍🏽
