We had difficulty with the TV remote, but he came over and helped us. My travelling companion really loved the hot tub. Lots of additional extras that were unexpected: hairdryer, hair straighteners, blue tooth speakers everywhere, there was even a record player and some vinyl albums . The log burner was soooo welcome.

We love historic places with quiet assured by expansive grounds. The location was very good for our return to Heathrow in another day. We enjoyed the pool after a busy day. Breakfast had many offerings to start the next travel day. Spring was a perfect time to enjoy things in bloom and the weather was perfect.

With easy access to the M62/M1, this stylish 4-star hotel is just 6 miles from Leeds centre and the new First Direct Arena. Fabulous hotel. Loved my comfortable and spacious room. Loved early morning coffee in my room through the quality coffee machine, sitting at coffee table and sofa, BLISS. I didn't fancy a big breakfast in the mornings so I would ask the staff for a scone and coffee, they were happy to oblige. Lovely staff, young and enthusiastic, loved my stay
