The owners were wonderful and very helpful in giving us travel hints for our continued journey to Belfast. They made a point of learning our names and using them when we spoke. Bella the dog was a welcomed treat! The Guinness was great and dinner was also great. Highly recommend!!

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. The personal touch with the owners presence & involvement, their interest in where we were from was awesome; also learning about the history of the area added to the experience. Food was fantastic.

Super helpful upon check-in, we had been delayed by storms in London and they made sure our process was speedy, called the restaurant we had booked ahead of our reservation to warn them we may be a little late, and sorted our taxi ahead of time. We made my wife’s birthday dinner and it was all down to Hayfields staff. Our suite was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious. We would stay nowhere else when repeat visiting Cork as we do.
