The location is unbeatable, with views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea just steps away. My mornings began with an incredible breakfast spread offering a vast array of delicious options from across India and beyond. The culinary excellence was matched only by the service and presentation. What truly set this experience apart was the sense of history that envelops the hotel. A special thank you to Mr. Newton, the in-house historian, who spent two hours personally walking me through the rich legacy of the palace. Having worked there for over 44 years, his stories, insights, and passion brought the walls of the hotel to life. It was like walking through time, guided by someone who had lived it. I only stayed four days, and it wasn’t nearly enough. I didn’t want to leave. Next time, I’ll be staying longer—because the Taj isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in itself. The front office manager, in particular, was fantastic and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The facilities at the Taj are nothing short of magical. The atmosphere of the entire place is uplifting, making it a perfect getaway spot. Thank you for providing such a remarkable experience. I look forward to my next stay!

She helped us organize incredible tours, suggested great local bars and restaurants, and was a constant source of support—especially when my wife felt unwell. Mrunali not only assisted with getting medication but also checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. Her kindness and care truly made a difference. Our room was pure 5-star luxury—extremely comfortable bed, stunning view of the mangroves, and a beautiful bathroom that made it feel like a peaceful retreat after busy days exploring the city. Plus, gym and Wellness Spa were unreal. Taj The Trees is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re so grateful for the warmth and generosity we received, and we can’t wait to return.
