You would never have to leave this property while on vacation. If a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is what you’re seeking, Villa Rita is a great place to escape the world.

Breakfast was well stocked…the hostess made made us scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, etc This place was close for us for a hike on MT Etnea. The owner took extra steps to help me on a possible tire issue, drove with me to a local gas station…this is over and above excellent service. The whole place was very new and modern…shower was especially nice. I would recommend this place!

Was able to leave luggage before check in so we could explore town. Extremely clean room with modern washroom. Breakfast extremely varied with so much to choose from. Liked staying here above Taormina as it was a cute quiet village. Many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Bus from Taormina was only 1.65 each way. It took about 10 min to get to Taormina. You can buy tickets from bus driver or tourist info shop. You can see bus stop from hotel. You can also walk to Taormina on a rugged path which takes about 20 minutes to arrive in town. Path is off highway which keeps you safe from traffic.

Wonderful secluded oasis hidden away. The friendliness and generosity of the staff. The beautifully restored architecture and all the carefully selected interior design elements. The delicious food, great breakfast. Everything was wonderful for a 2 day break.

The hotel is at the top of the mountain with the most gorgeous view of Taormina. The room was clean, aesthetic and had all the amenities you would need. Roberto was very gracious, responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. He made our stay very convenient by leaving us sightseeing and restaurant recommendations as well as taxi numbers and easy to follow navigations to the city centre. The city centre is a downhill walk with a lot of stairs and is about 15 minutes away. Overall, we truly enjoyed are stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The host, Stefania, was very kind, helpful, and responsive. Our trip to Sicily coincided with a fire at Catania Airport, which led to various schedule changes. But Stefania was flexible with the check-in time and offered us plenty of recommendations regarding where to shop, where to eat, and what to see. The location is superb, away from the hustle and bustle of Catania and close to other points of interest such as Mt. Etna or Taormina. It's clear to see a lot of passion has been put into making Frasteva a top of the line resort. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again in the future!
