Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring is gelegen in Aomori, op 6 km van Archeologische vindplaats Sannai-Maruyama en 43 km van warmwaterbron Tsuta. Not every Dormy is that good but this one is.

The location is convenient as it is attached to Aomori train station (which was very helpful as I did not get wet in the rain/snow!), with nearby department store, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, aesthetically it was beautiful, spacious and a delightful place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help me (including via a translator app when needed). The breakfast was amazing, one of my favourite I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel amenities such as the onsen and the lounge with free evening beverages were a treat. If you get a chance to book dinner (need 24 hours notice) it will not disappoint!

グランドサンピア八戸 is gelegen in Hachinohe en biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Het hotel biedt een spa-ervaring, met zijn sauna, hot tub en thermaalbad. The onsen is really good. The views are nice from the room, and they gave us a 2000 yens voucher (we didn't have breakfast included) which we used for the shop. When they came to install the futons, it wasn't the right time for us, so I asked them to not do it now. When it was the right time, I went to reception to ask for it, I think the women who normally do it had finished their shift but two men from the reception came to the room and installed the 4 futons (you had to add the sheets.on the pillows and the blankets too). I didn't realise this wasn't their job until it was too late but I was very thankful they did it especially as the room was small for 4 futons and the tables and it required some tetris skills.
