My room was a good size, especially as I was a single occupant, and had a sea view looking over the many islands in the area. The breakfast selection was varied and very good, catering to most tastes, and the views from the top floor restaurant are stunning. The high speed ferry pontoon is right outside the hotel. We pre-booked tickets to Miyajama in the hotel for the next day for the 20 minutes journey. We knew at the time of booking it was a little out of the city centre but we’re happy with the choice for the tranquility and sea views. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Hiroshima station and taxi fares were very reasonable. A walk from the ferry pontoon along the sea takes around 45-60 minutes to complete depending on walking speed and return route. I walked back the way I came to enjoy the sea and island views.

We were able to securely drop off our luggage early. Then we explored the city and returned later to check in. Our luggage was waiting for us in our room. Very convenient! We loved the complimentary treats, such as coffee, lemonade, ice cream and ramen! There was also a welcome treat in our bedroom on arrival. There were plenty of toiletries to use if needed. The public bath was awesome! It had indoor and open air baths so it was nice to try both. We also used the free shuttle service to the JR station, which was very convenient with luggage! The room was spotless. I would absolutely stay here again!
