I booked 2 rooms (premier deluxe twin) for 3 nights in December 2024. Hakodate is my first stop in my 2 weeks Hokkaido trip. The breakfast is so very exceptional! This hotel’s exceptional breakfast sets the standard so high that none of the hotels in our Hokkaido trip could match. When we had our breakfast in our next destination (in Noboribetsu), my elder son’s face is so black! Hahaha! If you are planning your trip, you might want to put this hotel as the last hotel. Room is of good size. Bright and gives very good view. Beds are comfy. Toilets are very clean. The onsen pools are new and big. In my trip, my favourite onsen pool is Noboribetsu Grand Hotel’s sulphur pool. If I am back in Hakodate, I will stay in this hotel again.

Amazing hotel and extremely friendly and polite staff who are super helpful. They provided me a complimentary room upgrade which was a huge plus thank you very much. The room is modern and very well equipped with two international sockets for your chargers in addition to a lot of USB inputs. The location is super convincing just inside JR Sapporo Station.

Hotel Emion Sapporo heeft een spa- en wellnesscentrum en ligt in Sapporo in de regio Hokkaido, op 450 meter van het station van Sapporo en op 13 km van het station Shin-Sapporo. Een zo goed als perfect hotel. Niets op aan te merken. En omdat mijn vlucht was gewijzigd mocht ik kosteloos een dag annuleren.

Nozo Hotel ligt in Furano, op 3 km van Treinstation Furano, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. Onsen, inclusief sauna, was erg netjes, Het is een modern, nieuw hotel. Gericht op de wintersportvakantie denk ik. Ben je op zoek naar (iets) meer traditioneel is dit niet de place to be.

Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan bevindt zich in Jozankei, op 27 km van station Sapporo en 32 km van Treinstation Shin-Sapporo, en biedt accommodatie met een spa- en wellnesscentrum en gratis privéparkeren. Spend my first days in Japan at Yurakusoan, and what a stay it was! It was amazing to experience traditional japanese lodging and cuisine at the same time, and also the onsen baths! The staff were very friendly, The shuttle bus service was very convenient, bringing you smoothly back and worth to Sapporo station.

Tower eleven hotel is gelegen in Kitahiroshima, op 12 km van Treinstation Shin-Sapporo en 23 km van station Sapporo, en biedt accommodatie met een bar, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.
