The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a balcony. amazing location outside of Mombasa right at the beach. we had our room right above one of the two pools and had a sea view too. the staff is very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast is really good and the rooms are very comfortable.

Bahari Beach Hotel is situated along the palm-fringed Nyali Beach in Mombasa and features an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The Nyali Golf Club is 5 minutes' drive away. I travelled to Mombasa on my way to Nairobi for work and all I needed was peace and quite and that’s exactly what I found, coupled with an incredibly nice staff and great facilities.

Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa is situated in Mombasa on one of the longest beachfront protected by the Mombasa Marine Park. We had an amazing experience at Sarova. The service was excellent, and both breakfast and dinner offered great variety. Anytime I made a request, it was attended to promptly, and I appreciated that reception always called back to confirm everything had been handled. Security was a top priority for me when choosing a place to stay, as well as a kid-friendly environment—and Sarova delivered on both. My daughter absolutely loved the kids’ area, especially thanks to Claris, whom she still talks about to this day. I also want to mention Sarafina, who was wonderful with children and truly knew how to engage with them, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach. The pool felt very safe, and having a lifeguard on duty at all times gave me great peace of mind. And finally, the spa and jacuzzi were the perfect way to relax and unwind, with excellent massages to complete the experience. Overall, Sarova exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to return.

Situated directly on the white sandy beach of Shanzu, Serena Beach Hotel & Spa offers panoramic views over the Indian Ocean. Guests can dine beside the outdoor pool in the extensive tropical gardens. It’s hard to find fault with this hotel. The staff could not be more friendly, efficient and attentive to your every need. The food was excellent with great variety and you really feel that you are valued and not just another guest. The staff really make you feel at home and very welcome. There is one main restaurant which serves a different buffet nightly which is excellent and one other restaurant on the beach so for those who like a large resort this might be on the small side. The rooms are spotlessly clean the only thing that could be improved upon are the bathrooms which need updating but were very clean with fresh towels daily. The beach is beautiful and the deck chair service is excellent, we found our towels on the chairs each morning ready for our arrival. Lunch is served on the lawn by the beach and the deck chair drink’s service is excellent. There is a newly installed Padel court which is fairly priced and easy to hire too. Everything about this hotel is charming from the immaculate grounds to the relaxed vibe. For anyone wanting a party hotel this is not for you as it is a quiet family style hotel but there is nightly entertainment from live music to acrobatic shows. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel.
