Featuring free WiFi, a spa centre and a year-round outdoor pool, Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport offers accommodation in Nairobi. I chose this hotel after flying in from Mombasa at the end of our stay. The hotel sent a shuttle service from their area about 10 minutes away and the pick-up was swift. The driver was very funny and helpful with loading and unloading. The staff at the hotel were kind with checking in and the hotel was very well designed. It was a lovely hotel and perfect for the last few days of a trip. We just ubered when we wanted to go somewhere with no issues getting back to the main part of the city. The beds were comfy, the bathroom clean and service was exceptional. I would stay here again before flying out of Nairobi.

It was a great place to rest for a day (after a long flight) before beginning our safari. We only wish we could've stayed longer! I could envision it being an excellent place for a writing retreat, too.

Offering a tranquil garden setting, Ololo Safari Lodge & Farm is nestled at the Mbagathi River bordering the famous Nairobi National Park. We absolutely loved our stay at Ololo. The Staff are amazing, so helpful and always on hand! Ololo is family run (special mention to Fred the family dog) so you feel like you’re really part of the group! The game drives are brilliant and led by very knowledgeable guides, we managed to see 4 of the big 5 in just a couple of days! The food is fantastic, brilliant portion sizes and all home made. We also visited the farm at the back of the property and it was great to see first-hand how Ololo is virtually self sustainable. Our room was so cosy and we even had monkeys playing outside our window most afternoons. We can’t wait to come back soon! HIGHLY recommend.

The gym was ultra-modern with a real trainer to assist. The gardens were beautiful. The concierge and front desk were professional and helpful. The store was great. All staff, wonderful. We also stayed at the Lake Elmentaita and Masai Mara Serena Lodges with the same experiences. If you want a classy vacation, book with Serena!
