He takes the time to sit with you, help plan your day or holiday, and is always quick to assist — whether it’s calling a cab, connecting you to a currency exchange person, or even offering a small medical first aid kit, which came in handy when I needed help for a minor cut. He’s not only a great host but also someone who genuinely cares about the environment — he spends his free time contributing to ocean cleanup efforts, which is truly inspiring. His wife is equally lovely and makes delicious, healthy breakfasts that are far better than anything you’ll find in a restaurant — homemade with love, and a perfect way to start the day. A car rental service is available at Natraj Guest House, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Amazing guest house, that has kind of an hostel vibes because of the common space. The location was really close to the beach, which was perfect. The room is very clean, the pillow super comfy too. We had very good sleep in that place The owner is also very friendly and helpful. He recommanded restaurant but also boat drivers to go snorkeling! We both really enjoyed our stay 😊

Rooms are built on rustic wooden huts. Each room is beautifully furnished with a private balcony overlooking the sea, a seating area and ironing facilities. The spacious en suite bathrooms include a hairdryer. Perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday at the beach. Beautiful, large, comfortable, and well equipped rooms, excellent service on all departments, beautiful beach, very good restaurant with varied menu. For breakfast (we always took Sri Lankan) and were offered different dishes for each of the three days we spent there. You are out of town and therefore will need transportation to go anywhere. This can be easily arranged through the hotel (that has also a private tuk-tuk), but honestly, apart from a lovely three hours tour of Trincomalee city, the only thing we really wanted was to enjoy the peace and beauty of the resort. Even with heavy rain it was wonderful to sit in the room's veranda. Tip: if you are an early riser you can watch the local fishermen in the process of retrieving the nets with the catch. Fascinating!
