The room was spacious and clean, bed was big and comfortable with good pillows. The host greeted with a coconut water which was a really nice and sweet gesture! He was really friendly and had a smile on his face at all times and made sure everything is okay and works smoothly. Breakfast was tasty, you can try some traditional Sri Lankan food together with tea/coffee and fresh fruits. The room had a perfectly well working A/C and the bathroom had hot water. A kettle and tea/coffee were also available in the room. Thank you very much for your kindness and warm hospitality!

Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais and Chateaux - All Inclusive is adjacent to the famous Yala National Park, renowned for its dense leopard population. The team at Wild Coast were very attentive and very friendly and positive in their roles, we were treated like royalty. The rooms were exceptional and very comfortable. The bath was amazing and the products provided were a great thought by the resort. The food was next level and we attempted to try something different each night however it was hard as our first night the meal was exceptional and it was hard to not have it again. I think the pool in both the room and the resort were the perfect size and temperature. The wildlife around the resort is great and you are encouraged not to interact with it to ensure it stays as nature should! However the monkeys did scare me a little! Overall a perfect experience and I would highly recommend at least a 2 night stay !

Το MOON LIGHT Guest House απέχει μόλις 1,1χλμ. από το σταθμό λεωφορείων Tissamaharama και 3,2χλμ. από την όμορφη λίμνη Tissa. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο και δωρεάν ποδήλατα. I think this was definitely the best value going around. We contacted Moon light by WhatsApp and they organized a car from Ella for us and we detoured past Diyaluma Falls (well worth it to dip), the accom is excellent, great aircon, hammocks. We ate lunch on arrival, dinner & lunch after the safari at the accom and it was plentiful & delicious. We left for the safari at 4:45 and got back at midday, so it’s enough time to do the half day I think. We saw a leopard running along a branch, elephants and many other animals. We then had a car (also organized by Moon light) ready after lunch to drive us to Aragum Bay. Couldn’t have been more seemless. With the park entry, jeep, meals, accom, and long transfers it still cost less than I saw some day tours advertised at. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough! The owner, Shehan, is an exceptional host—kind, helpful, and incredibly talented. Not only is he a great chef who prepared the most delicious lobster and fresh fish, but he’s also a skilled therapist. After an amazing safari, where I was lucky enough to see a leopard and a bear, Shehan’s relaxing massage was exactly what I needed to unwind. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and well-equipped rooms that provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a stunning natural saltwater pool within walking distance, and the beach feels like your own private paradise. Shehan’s knowledge of the wildlife is impressive, making the safari even more special. His passion for the animals and the surrounding nature is truly inspiring. I only stayed for one night, but I wish I had booked at least three! It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy fresh seafood paired with excellent white wine and cold beer, and immerse yourself in nature. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality and hard work. Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5-minute away from Yala National Park. Everything was outstanding - the service, the accommodation, the food and the people! Big thanks to Yassi, our ranger, who was very knowledgable and made our game drives really enjoyable. Also our waiter Nuwan was amazing and knew our preferences by day 2.

The best part was the monkeys that love to come and visit . The staff went all out with an evening bonfire and cocktails by the lake . The pool is a great size to go for a proper swim . They have a great spa which is elevated amoungst the trees . I had a fabulous foot massage. ❤️

Located in a relaxed area. Near the rice fields. The room was very big and very clean. It was really nice for a low Budget and its price was very affordable ( It was one of the cheapest in the area). Vinuka, owner's son is really a nice, well educated and lovely guy. He came with us in the tour and gave us nice info and they were very flexible with the route .
