Very nice resort, with super friendly staff - from the reception, to the kitchen, the bar, the cleaners - every one was genuinely friendly. The hotel is set up beautifully in front of the lagoon, and all the areas are very cozy: the indoor restaurant, the outdoor sitting area, the outdoor beach bar, the yoga room: everything is neat! The food was incredibly good, with a huge buffet offering lots of different options (we even found the quality to be way better than the more expensive hotels on the other side of the lagoon!). Our bungalow room was comfortable, and the cleaning ladies even offered to clean it twice a day if we wanted (which was'nt necessary for us, but still a nice gesture/option!). The director was around during our stay, and he seemed friendly not only to the customers but also to the staff, while having everything under control. The free pick-up/drop off shuttle was very convenient as well. The wingfoil instructor we had - Rachid - was super nice and competent, and he was the reason we decided to take more lessons despite the high prices. Also a special shout out to the barman (the one that was running the beachbar during the afternoons), who was incredibly friendly and professional, with strong communication skills in english as well.

(On Friday there was a buffet which wasn´t as good as the food they served during the week although it wasn´t bad either. The girl that served us was very helpful and super kind. We needed to get a plane early morning so they made especially for us a breakfast at 5.30 but we could even have it earlier.

I can really only recommend the hotel to all guests who are really looking for a sophisticated place. The attitude of the staff towards the guests is really fantastic and excellent. Really thanks for constantly working to keep the entire hotel complex clean and tidy. Special thanks for the constant kind service in the restaurant for Lamia, and in the reception for Buscrah. Curated like a museum the common spaces are spectacular. The pool and rooms are sheik and the dining area overlooking the bay is spectacular.

We had an excellent time at the playa hotel the staff is very kind and helpful they did everything to make sure we had a good time . The rooms are clean and comfortable, we enjoyed drinking coffee at the little tables overlooking the ocean. We booked for 2 nights and during our stay we added an other night. We recommend a stay at the Playa hotel to all who visit Dakhla. Good quality good price warm welcome and excellent staff. Inshallah we will return. Thank you so much for everything.
