We recently returned from a magical stay at Nova Maldives, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, personal, and deeply attentive. 🥐 Breakfast & Dining Experience The breakfast buffet was a standout — beautifully presented, with a wide variety of fresh options to suit every taste. They even provided avocado as per request. Whether you’re into tropical fruits, pastries or hearty hot dishes, there’s something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to help, and keeping everything spotless. 🛏️ Accommodation We stayed in an overwater villa, and it was absolutely stunning. The villa was spacious, modern, and immaculately maintained. We especially appreciated the twice-a-day cleaning service — our room always felt fresh and cared for. 👨‍🍳 Service & Staff The service was truly world-class. Every staff member went above and beyond, but we want to give a special mention to: • All the waiters were extremely polite and nice, like Amir – incredibly professional, warm, and attentive • Ashraf – always smiling and made every meal feel special, offered his help many times and offered extra service. They made us feel welcome and remembered the little details, which added such a personal touch. 🤿 Diving Club – A Highlight of the Trip The on-site diving club was phenomenal. We joined the whale shark hunt, and it was an unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to: • Shiyaan – knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about marine life • Jerry – fun, experienced, and made us feel completely safe in the water, even helped me not to sink as it was very difficult to swim while you are pregnant and trying to follow whale shark Their team was professional yet approachable — whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver, you’ll be in excellent hands.

The property was close to the beach and the rooms were clean. The two girls working there clean up the rooms every day. The breakfast was good, we also eat dinner one night there, we ordered fish(it was huge) and was really tasty and it was only 10$/person. Also the host was really nice and helpful. I would 1000000% recommend this property.

Normally I am not the "all icl" person but it was so great over there. For me, all icl was really necessary, you don't have shops or other restaurants at the island (there is 1 little souvenier shop but not a supermarket or sth like this). The food was really good (buffet; pasta station - loved it!! - currys, desert station, Pizza, meat etc. Small island (when you take a walk at the beach you are done with the whole island in ~10 Mins :D but a lot to see / do: Pool (no people there; maybe just at the evening), good food & cocktails, animals (geckos & bigger ones are everywhere on trees, fruit bats, ginger the cat, a grey heron, two little parrots, little sharks, octopus & rays esp at dusk; take a torch at night or you will step on a crab :D). staff is very nice, especially the cooks at the pasta station! there are a lot of italians on the island, but animation is in english too (movie night, sports, music quiz etc). our water bugalow was very spacious and great! we didnt wear shoes on the whole island (even at dinner there is a sandy bottom) <3 Would definetely recomend a stay on this island and book again!

On arrival at the island (via speed boat), staff will meet you at the pier and help you with your luggage to your apartment, and the same applies for departure. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with air conditioning and a fan. There is a good choice of breakfast, with several types of local breakfast or a continental breakfast served on the terrace surrounded by tropical plants. It is accompanied by good coffee, tea and a choice of juices. The location itself is about 100 metres from the sandy beach. There are many restaurants serving local delicacies in the immediate vicinity. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

They have thought about every little detail. I am fascinated with this resort. The staff were very friendly and kind, the vila was amazing, everything was clean, the nature is awesome. We will come again.

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Everything about Veligandu Resort was excellent!! The accommodations, food, beach, pool and especially the friendly staff made this an exceptional vacation!!

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... The island is very small and cozy, since there is few people around at all times it becomes a paradise for relaxation. Staff was extremely gentle and supportive at all times; also the food was excellent and you get plenty of choice every day, with lots of variations. The beach villas (we booked one of these) are well spaced, with all the comforts, and obviously the sea was amazing.
