The room was spacious and small details made it extra special; record player, large picture books of Mexico, evening turn down service w delicious cookies, mini French press to make coffee and so many more details. The bathroom was large and the huge windows were treat to enjoy the view. The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. They were happy to build us a fire in the evening and help with any other small detail. The staff sent me a WhatsApp message as soon I made the booking and they assisted me to set up several day trips with a private driver. All the activities went smoothly and the driver was safe and friendly. The location was amazing. Several top restaurants within blocks and the main strip of bars and shops (no cars) was just a short walk. Lastly, the hotel was plastic-free! The room was free small cosmetic bottles and they provided fresh water in glass carafes each day. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but enjoyed drinks and small appetizers served by the very welcoming staff.

The hotel is an older building, and its furniture and features are not new, but we felt that this added to its charm.

It was beautifully landscaped , the rooms were situated for privacy, and the pool was absolutely stunning, especially with the lighting at night. It was definitely one of the most attractive resort-like places we’ve stayed at. It was immaculately clean. Top marks to the hard-working cleaners.
