Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. We stayed in the ocean wing and from start to finish was an amazing experience. We like the whiter reception area and pool and breakfast here too. The family room was great the kids loved the bunk beds and the outdoor bath tub! The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The spa treatments snd golf were also amazing. Sadly the weather was too raining thunderstorm for our booked night jungle walk and horse riding but that can’t be helped! Overall a fantastic place to stay for a luxury getaway.

The food and beverage team, Jumarah, Lou, Conny, Nor, Siti and Marianah (hope I got the spelling right) were a dream to help us each day. Not only did they help me with my limited Bahasa Malay, they also provided high-level professional service making me and my family feel so welcome at Shangri-La. We will miss you guys! The breakfast buffet was an exception and one not to miss. Something for everyone!
