The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Additionally, all excursions, including entrance to Sandoval Lake are paid, as are shuttle services from the airport to the property and back. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Located in the Amazon rainforest, this hotel features tours to the jungle, a massage spa overlooking the Madre de Dios forest and rooms with hammocks and balconies. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the rates. The lodge was was amazing. They thought of every detail from the hammocks, the bug net, the turndown service, to the breaks between excursions to relax.

Located in Puerto Maldonado, Casa Amazonas provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a terrace, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. It was a beautiful retreat and we were very well looked after. The property is gorgeous and it’s so special to be immersed in nature to hear the birds and monkeys and watch the butterflies. The yoga chala was a wonderful space to soak in.

Each room here features a mosquito net and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Superior rooms have electricity between 12:00 and 13:00 and between 17:00 and 21:00. A daily breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Located right in the rain forest, great trips to explore the local area and nature. Staff were wonderful. A great experience.
