Guests at The Reef Island Resort Mactan, Cebu can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Wauw, very comfortable and nice hotel. I booked it mainly because of the location close to the airport of Cebu. This is really a great way to end my vacation and prepare for the long flight home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing and the beach is very nice. I recommend to get a massage, it is splendid. Breakfast is very generous and there are multiple food options for lunch and dinner. Rooms are very spacious and clean, they have everything you might need. Beds are very comfortable.

From the portier, reception, housekeeping and the service, they were so amazing, very helpful and friendly. Just wow! The location is also good, I love it quite peaceful but still next to the beach, pharmacy, bars and restaurant. But honestly I just eat at the hotel restaurant because the bar and the food was so good. They also had a gym, outdoor pool and a spa. I went to the gym and spa, can recommend it! I booked extra a room with seaview which was amazing! The staff made my stay more than feeling home, I was so welcomed and loved!! Thank you so much! I will definitely come back next year!

We stayed at Bluewater Maribago as a family with two little boys (2 years and 2 months, and 5 months old), right after a long journey from Germany—and it was exactly what we needed. We originally booked 3 nights but extended to 4 because it was just the perfect place to adjust to the climate and recover. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly family-friendly. The pools were a big hit with the kids, and while we didn’t swim much at the beach, our toddler spent hours happily playing in the sand. That kind of distraction made everything easier for us as parents. The food was outstanding—we had the breakfast and dinner buffet daily at Allegro Restaurant and loved the variety and quality. But what really made this stay special was the staff. The resort’s core value, Amuma (a Bisaya word meaning to pamper or care), isn’t just a slogan—it’s something you feel in every interaction. Big thanks to Joyce and the welcoming team at the Allegro entrance, Jeff and Richell from the juice bar who took great care of us in the afternoons, and especially Carlos at the kinilaw buffet, who we saw more than once step through a potted plant (literally) to help guests at the nearby self-service station. That kind of extra effort and warmth was everywhere. If you’re arriving in Cebu with kids—or just need a peaceful, genuine place to land—this is it. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and truly cared for.

We absolutely loved everything, the staff are amazing Shangri la you should be proud of your staff they are so amazing, been around the world and this has been the best hotel by far. Food amd restaurants are brilliant. Staff so lovely. Raymond, Reggie and Aldwin were so lovely and made our time here extra exceptional , by their service we only had 2 umbrellas and they went and got us a extra one and got wet to go get it. We feel blessed thankyou to them . Thankyou shangri la we won't forget this holiday !

The ambiance is really nature preserved and very relaxing. I will definitely come back with the whole family. The place is secured and very safe. We roamed around in the entire facility at night.
