Our room was a river view one bedroom and it truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely helpful, and breakfast was superb. We spent three nights at the hotel and it truly was an amazing stay.

Octant Douro is set in the southern margin of the Douro River, km 41 of the N222 road. It is 10 km from the centre of Castelo de Paiva, 40 km from Porto, 60 km from Porto International Airport and 160 km from the Spanish border. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.
