They are very helpful and as my friend and I arrived very early on the check in date and we travelled for more than 24hours to arrive, they checked and found a room for us that we are able to check in much earlier than expected.

Breakfast was different in a good way. Local produce, fresh salad and huge array of pickles. Some standard breakfast items too, also of high quality and local where possible.
The VANA spa on the top floor with views over the city is spectacular.
Drinks prices were reasonable.

This was a great find. The rooms are fairly basic clean and comfortable , however the food is absolutly amazing in its quality and not over priced. The staff are all very freindly and keen to insure that your stay was them was an enjoyable one
On my road trip of 16 days this was the best hotel stayed in mainly beacsue of the freindly staff who made me feel most welcome and the great food and drinks
Situated right by Ume River in Lycksele, Hotell Lappland features Sele Spa 1700 m2 spa with outdoor pools. Lycksele Zoo is a 5-minute drive away. Parking and WIFI are free for guests.

Unique place - whole Hotel is constructed by wood. That's impressive!
