We booked Cottage 1 - Private Pool, Outdoor Shower Staff are excellent - from Veronique and Jenna right to the servers and our Game Driver "Micky-Lea" (sp? 🫣) 5 ⭐️ hospitality - they seriously are accommodating and seeking to make the guest experience, the best possible Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the early a.m. sunrises and evening sunsets on the property. The inner garden and courtyard are just beautiful... especially in the golden hours

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. Amazing place, in the heart of the nature so that you feel like in a new dimension. The staff is extremely kind (especially Frederic, that cheered our dinner playing the piano!), and the room really big and cleaned. I had one of my best breakfast in my South Africa trip! Even the safaris were perfect. Thank you!

Το Shamwari Bayethe βρίσκεται στην προστατευόμενη περιοχή Shamwari όπου δεν υπάρχει ελονοσία, σε απόσταση 9χλμ. από το Πάτερσον. Προσφέρει πολυτελείς σκηνές με ιδιωτική μικρή πισίνα. The setting and the facilities were excellent. We used the Spa which perfectly complemented the Lodge. The rooms were spotlessly clean as were the rest of the facilities.

Kuzuko's, 15000 hectare, private game reserve is situated 2hours from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) airport, Right on the edge of the Karoo Heatland region and bordering the northern boundery of the Addo... The staff and the view and setting. Also the food was great! Very comfortable!

Set between 2 streams in a lush bush land, this 5-star lodge is located within the Lalibela Game Reserve. It offers secluded suites with private heated plunge pools and terraces. Lalibela experience was something real and unique! It doesn’t matter how frequently you are traveling - you will be pleasantly surprised by sincere hospitality of the team (starting from the smooth and prompt booking process till the best service on the spot), deep and outstanding knowledge of the rangers (special thanks to Nikita and Ashley - your love to your work and nature helps me to believe in humanity) and, last but not least, the scale of the territory where you will find trilling encounter with wild, beautiful animals and with strong, breathtaking nature (we were happy to spend the days far away from noise, traffic, density of the city - full recharge). The Lounge itself (we booked “Kichaka”) is impressive, here you will find everything that is needed for comfortable stay (beautiful luxury design, super wide terrace, pool, private pool with water heating system, 2 real fireplaces that you can enjoy after an evening safari or when it rains, bar, beautiful local wine, wide menu for all courses of the meal etc.). All of this was already included in the price of booking. To leave this place was a real hart braking moment. Thank you!

Long Lee Manor is situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. The Edwardian-styled manor boasts manicured gardens and overlooks the African plains. Simply great. Great location in many senses - the reserve itself (only 1 hour from the airport PLZ), the location of the manor in the reserve and of course the reserve as a biodiverse paradise. Food - great - suprisingly great we have to say. The Manor is spacious, our room was much larger than expected. It had a terrace facing the open reserve where you could see animals from a distance after a shower or having a coffee. The buildings have a modern country style touch, are very welcoming, open and invite to relax. There is "the usual" 5-star stuff to do, if you are not on a game drive (pool, spa, gym, etc). Which is great if you have a partner or you are in a group with people that are not into game drives as much - they will have a proper 5-star hotel experience and be able to relax anyway. - This is a main difference to camps with tents and less luxurious equipment. Staff is very friendly - nice concept of the ranger having breakfast with you afterwards so you can reflect upon what you have seen. Children - there is another camp in the reserve that is especially family friendly - I forgot the name - ask the reserve, they will tell you.

Excellent views, wild life was amazing to see, elephant walk was excellent. Room comfort was incredible and the staff were very sweet and always on top of their game to help with no waiting time!

Το Elephants Lodge βρίσκεται μέσα στο προστατευόμενο δάσος Bellevue, χωρίς ελονοσία, το οποίο φιλοξενεί άγρια ζώα, όπως λιοντάρια και βουβάλια. Service was amazing. We went for our honeymoon, and they were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond. Rangers were very knowledgeable. Giraffe walk was an out of this world.

Set on a citrus farm on the banks of the Sundays River, Avoca River Cabins offers game drives, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children’s playground and conference and wedding facilities. I only have great things to say about this place. When we arrived by motorcycle it was very very hot. The manager upgraded us to a little chalet so that it would be cooler and more comfortable for us. The whole property is beautiful and well maintained. They have a pool and a lovely river. We had the breakfast in the morning and it was copious and delicious. It is definitely a place I would not hesitate to recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!
