Boasting a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the garden, Minara Private Boutique Game Lodge is situated in Dinokeng Game Reserve and features accommodation with free WiFi.

The lodge provides guests with a patio, pool views, a seating area, a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with bath and free toiletries. We stayed in the 2 BR villa called the Farmhouse, in a fully enclosed and secure area populated by wandering wildebeest, springbok and other birds and animals. The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

At LookOut Safari Lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The staff was very helpful, I got lost but their assistance made so much of a difference . They really made my birthday extra special so I really appreciate their efforts . The kitchen facilities had everything we needed & the chalet was very clean . A big 10/10 from me. The jacuzzi & braai area enabled us to bond nicely cos there is enough privacy for each chalet

An à la carte, continental or Full English/Irish breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving African, French and Greek cuisine. A vegetarian option can also be requested. Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.
