Το The Cottage on the Corner έχει θέα στο βουνό και παρέχει αυλή και ηλεκτρικό βραστήρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Himeville Nature Reserve είναι περίπου 2 χλμ μακριά. Judy is a perfect host. She just took care of everything and helped us a lot. The cottage itself is very very nice, equipped with just everything you'll need. The jacuzzi is fun and we we had a great time.

Set in the heart of the Northern Drakensberg, Cavern Resort & Spa provides family-friendly accommodation located 65 km from Harrismith and 48 km from Bergville. I had a wonderful stay - loved every detail: the superb location, the place with its long history, the commitment of the staff, the food (phenomenal !!), my room, and the intermediate level walks that I joined in. Moneywise it may not be a bargain - but it's worth it - really. I think that's my first (or second?) 10 point rating ever - I can't find nothing at all to complain about. Okay... maybe except for the weather which can - as we all know - be quite changeable in the mountains. If it rains, just snuggle up in one of the lounges and have a good read with you.

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!
