Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. From the moment you enter the property, you know you're in for a special treat! Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. We have been on multiple safaris throughout 12 years in both Eastern and Western Cape. This one was by far the best value. We have never seen a Cheetah that close. Our ranger Tim was exceptional and the restaurant had the best food. The villa was gorgeous and clean. The swimming pools as well. We will be back!

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. The villa was outstanding and the service was exceptional. Trogon House offers treetop accommodation in the Tsitsikamma Forest, 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Plattenberg Bay. The location in the forest is very unique and it felt like being on a treehouse. We had an amazing time and excellent dinner on the sundeck with a fantastic view (monkeys in the forest). This is the place to relax.
