We were made to feel very special every morning and anything we needed was no problem. We had one unfortunate visit to the hospital and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Shout out to James the manager in the day time as he was always there and very approachable! And Barney the driver that took us to the hospital and back (without hesitation making a stop).

The Winchester Hotel ligt aan de Sea Point Promenade aan de Atlantische kust, en beschikt over een zwembad en een binnenplaats in Italiaanse stijl, omgeven door palmbomen en fonteinen. I loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, a short drive from the V&A and centre of CT, sea-facing in Seapoint with the full mountain backdrop. Seapoint is really nice with lots of shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance and relatively safe (for SA). The hotel itself is gorgeous. It has a beautiful courtyard with red, purple and green Bougainvillea lining the whitewash walls. The hotel food is exceptional too. I love my food and every meal was above average. The room was spacious and had a lovely extension where my girlfriend could get ready. The bathroom was spacious and shower was very big too. To top it off, the staff were super friendly and super helpful. We spoke to them on a daily basis for help booking trips and restaurants and they went above and beyond to assist.

The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of town and close to the water. The pool was excellent, a real highlight, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. It’s exactly the kind of boutique hotel that makes a quick getaway feel special.
