This spot is incredible. The rooms felt modern and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was very friendly. We had lunch and breakfast here and very much enjoyed ourselves. We were even sad we didn't have our dinner there too. The location initially seemed far from the castle and old town but there is a shortcut. It is a steep 8mins walk to get to the castle but doable.

Maradona and his family are great hosts. We were about to miss the last bus from Sarande to Gjirokastër but Maradona manage to phone the bus driver and arranged us to get the bus. He was kind enough to come and pick us from the bus terminal for free and aways there to drop and pick us from anywhere we go for free, specially from the old town. Great hospitality. The room was very clean and big enough. very good breakfast.

We loved our stay. The location was perfect, very close to the centre of town and right below the castle yet located such that you can enjoy the views and tranquility rather the city centre party music. The room was wonderfully done up, very modern and comfortable. The best was the service as the people were wonderful and always ready to help with a smile. Our best stay in Albania!

A lovely hotel and a lovely stay! Everything was fresh and clean, the staff were helpful and polite. The room felt luxurious and lovely, but it was very small. With one big suitcase and two people it was a bit difficult, but for a boutique hotel it's to be expected. Might be better for solo travellers.

The Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Gjirokaster. The historic city center is only a few steps away. The location of the hotel is simply stunning and allows an excellent view over Gjirokaster. The hotel-staff is extremely friendly and helped me even with a little problem with my car. Breakfast was excellent and was much more than a single person could eat. This was the best hotel I had during my week touring around Albania! Highly recommended!

This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the courtyard was beautiful. Great location and greater value for money!
