Family owned hotel in Kaprun, excellent breakfast variety you can choose from scrambled, hard boiled eggs, various bread, granola, yogurt, meat, cheese, fruits, vegetables. Excellent service from the hotel owners, as every morning they offer you tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Hotel is very close to Maiskogel ski lift (3 minutes by car). With this lift you can reach Maiskogel peak as well as Glacier at 3000 m (you need to change lift at the Maiskogel peak). Hotel offers Sauna, sauna towels. Owners really taking care of everything you need and we had a very good time at this place. Overall, well managed hotel, very pleasant owners. They gave as an advice regarding the lifts/ski areas. Highly recommended if you visit Kaprun area in winter/summer.

I travel a lot, to the sea, tourist goals and, especially, skiing. I stayed in 5-star and 4-star hotels...I left both positive and negative reviews according to how I felt treated. I arrived at LukasMayr by accident, there I found an offer for the last hundred meters for Zell, Saalbach, Kaprun. And I want to say that it was the best choice. It was the first time I felt at home. The friendliness of the staff, the management, the large and clean rooms, the parking, the quietness of the settlement of 4000 people, their respect. As for the food, breakfast and dinner...impeccable. Maybe nowhere have I eaten better and more organized (each room had a reserved table). Congratulations to the family of owners, who work side by side with the employees and who gave me the impression that the LukasMayr team is a family in itself. The ski bus leaves right in front of the hotel. Room for heating slippers. A hotel that this family rented in ruins and is trying to bring it to perfection. The road is difficult, but I am convinced that they will succeed We will definitely be back. P.S. No, we are not friends and I was not paid for this review. That's how I felt the stay. Like HOME. LukasMayr Team, respect!
