The rooms were just the right size, the washrooms clean and very well fitted out! The staff was exceptionally enthusiastic and cooperative, and the breakfast and food otherwise left little to be desired! The cherry on top of the icing are the hosts, the very kind and friendly couple who run and operate this lovely facility!!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! You are 7 minutes walking from the centre of Triberg and the views over the valley are beautiful. We booked an apartment and it exceeded our expectations, the spaces are big, everything is super clean and it looks like new. We even had both a shower and a bathtub! It was great to have the kids sleep in their own room :). The balcony overlooking the hills was the cherry on the cake. The breakfast was delicious, great variety and everything really fresh and local. The staff was very nice and kids friendly. Our kids loved the pool, really nice add on to an already amazing place. We are already booking our next holiday in this hotel! 😀

Was extremely pleased and positively surprised with our apartment. It is a studio apartment but designed so well, I could stay there for week or even months. Fully equipped. I loved the high quality Schwarzwald elements combined with some traditional elements and beautiful photos on the walls. Everything you need is walking distance away. You can even walk to Triberg waterfalls if you wanted.

Excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff. Room was nice and large with great facilities. The restaurant was a little pricey but the food was really good.Very clean and presentable. great value for your money. The breakfast was free with a great variety of bread, meats, muesli,yogurt,and eggs. The lady serving was very freindly and spoke really good English.

    An amazing location with stunning views of the valley below. We loved the romantic & historic feel of the Schloss. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, as was the generous & tasty buffet breakfast. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

    Exceptional location, nice room and great food. The view from the dining room of the valley was magical. The staff at reception and dinner breakfast were really helpful. Dinner was really fantastic. Much more than 3 star hotel.
