Everything was excellent. This family hotel is in Wertheim, the heart of the romantic route. The free parking is in front of the hotel, and Frank & Lina are wonderful hosts. The rooms are typical German, meaning modern and functional, although not luxurious. Everything works perfectly in and outside the room. The breakfast is delicious, both in quality and quantity. The differential value of this hotel is on its hosts, which are simultaneously at the lobby and the breakfast. In a time when hotels are run by anonymous young people who do not care about the guests' inquiries, it is good to find alternatives like this hotel in Germany.

Altstadt Hotel Baunachshof is, as its name suggests, in the old town and a great location for sightseeing in that area of Wertheim, walking up to the castle, or strolling the short distance to the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers. The spotless room was remarkably well equipped and designed to be practical, seeming larger than its size. It has good lighting, a spacious bathroom with good shower, fridge, table and two chairs. When we failed to spot the QR code on the room card for Wifi, I asked via booking.com and the hotel team rapidly explained. The parking garage is very close and reasonably priced at EUR5 for a day. We opted out of the breakfast and popped round the corner to a super bakery (Bäckerei Frischmuth) for a lighter breakfast.

Communication. We arrived late and had to leave early, nevertheless less the staff did their best to deliver us the keys although the reception as already closed and to open the breakfast room earlier for us Rooms. They are spacious and more comfort than most of 4* hotels I saw Breakfast. A good range of dishes, hot and cold, fresh fruits and fruit salad, diary products and sandwiches - for all taste. And the dining room was like in a good restaurant Location. We found it easily and even parked on the street with o issues, but I must say it was Friday evening, so maybe it is more difficult during the day.

This hotel offers traditional Franconian hospitality on the outskirts of Wertheim. It offers a bowling alley and a restaurant serving Franconian specialities.

Our room was spotless, with comfortable beds and very clean bathroom. delicious dinner and good breakfast. This hotel is few km from the city but wasn’t a problem for us.

This traditional 3-star hotel has been in existence since 1736, and even provided hospitality to Prince Ludwig. Würzburg and Wertheim are both just 20 km away.

Honesty - I lost 500 Euro note somewhere. Informed to hotel staff. They informed to check mall, etc.. where ever I went. Finally I checked out room by 11 am. Surprisingly I got call from hotel that the amount is received from the room by hotel staff. It was really surprising for me. They are too cooperative. Thank you very much. It means a log for me.

Everything was great. The price was very good for the big room we got. Great view, we could see the sunshine from the hills from the balcony. Good enough breakfast. Friendly receptionist. Within 5-minute walking distance from Solymar Therme, for which you get 10 euro discount at the reception. If you want a great culinary experience, the restaurant Bundschuh is also 5 minutes away. We had the best steak ever there plus the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

A very clean and comfortable apartment, directly on the Tauber cycle route. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and provided an an excellent buffet breakfast. Safe storage was available for bicycles with charging points for ebikes.
