Sausages could have been cooked better and possibly as we only arrived down 30 minutes before breakfast ended the selection wasn’t great. Location suited us perfectly and the Lady on Reception was fantastic, her understanding of customer service is Top Shelf.

Hacienda is located in Châteauneuf-les-Martigues, 5 km from Martigues City centre and a 10-minute drive from the beaches.

As a large family traveling, we loved the fact that we were all in the same room, the beds were big and super comfy. We arrived late because of major traffic and they were so kind to reach out ask how we doing and give us all the night door codes and have everything ready for when we arrived.

Location of property is excellent. Lovely hotel with loads of character and spotlessly clean. Lady on desk (didn't get her name)was very welcoming. Beautiful sun terrace to sit and relax⁹

I stayed at this hotel only one night on the road. I arrived just before the closing which is a little early (10:30pm). The manager was there and opened. He was very nice and helpful. The Hotel is clean and the location is practical if you are driving since the center of the city is 6 minutes away. The city is definitely worth a stop.

The owner is the nicest guy you could find. We sat on the patio and had wine and he brought us bread pickles olives and pate. Later asked him if he could order a pizza for us. Well his wife made us pizza and 4 more glasses of wine, total 20euro. Verry impressed at the hospitality from this small business owner. He also refused a tip. Its not the Ritz or 4 seasons but it is clean and very safe and very reasonably priced. I'm not big on reviews but this man cares about his guests, hard to find anymore. Thank you again sir, it was my pleasure to meet you!

The hotel is ideally situated for touring along the Mediterranean coast away from the highly populated areas. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and the atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxed. Our room was very comfortable with a stunning view from our balcony. Our evening meals and breakfast buffet were excellent - in particular soya milk is available which was important for me as I am lactose intolerant. The chef very kindly ensured that I was aware of menu choices which would not have been good for me and adapted dishes to suit my dietary needs - thank you so much!
