Faros is a very affordable and comfy hotel in Piraeus, with good AC and WiFi, walking distance to the cruise ship terminal that serves the Athens area. Such a great location for cruise passengers and staff! Before check-in and after check-out, the friendly reception people kept my big luggage for me at lobby level.

The hostel is located in a quiet area even though it’s super close to everything. The facilities are new, the hostel beds in perfect condition and you even have two lockers in the room (1 under the bed and 1 with a code). They also have a nice variety of things to buy at the reception… ☺️ The cocktail bar and the DJs fit the vibe perfectly!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Athens. The location is truly perfect – all major sights are within walking distance and there’s a metro station just around the corner. There are also plenty of great bars and tavernas nearby, perfect for ending the evening. Due to the central location it can be a bit noisy, so if you’re sensitive to sound, bringing earplugs is a good idea. The staff was overall nice, but I especially want to highlight the breakfast team: the food they served was by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was incredibly kind and sweet – simply outstanding! All in all, a highly recommended hotel in Athens.
