We loved everything about this hotel. As people have said, the view, big comfortable rooms, very clean, the great food, the kindness of the lovely family who own the hotel & the exceptional staff We were ‘stuck’ an extra 3 nights after our flight was cancelled due to severe weather. They could not have been more helpful in accommodating us & I could not think of a better place I would wish to be stuck in We were also provided a fantastic driver for our stay by the hotel & he took care of our every whim for a price we were more than happy to pay

Wonderful staff especially the manager (Arun) was incredibly helpful and friendly. We booked a room (without breakfast) with view of the mountains and the views were breathtaking especially during dawn and dusk. Room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. There even a small welcome basket with snacks and tea bags /coffee were available with kettle facilities. We had a minor issue with the geyser in the night to which the team responded and fixed it instantly. Definitely happy customers!

Everything about bunksters is perfect. Location, view from the room, food, common space and amenities. Possibly the best stay in dharamkot. It’s newly opened and i’ve stayed in Bir bunksters too, all I can say if they’ve levelled up. The outdoor seating/restaurant is also good. It feels like home

The room is very clean, well equped, I liked the small balkony and the roooftop teras. The bathroom is super modern and clean.equiped with different shower options and a clever mirror 😉. The breakfast contains sandwich and Indian options, too. The hotel manager is kind and and helpful, they helped to oeganize pick up/ drop off from/to the bus stop and also local sightseeings. The main attractions in Mcload Ganj are in walking distance.

Chonor House is like stepping into a film set. Our room was gorgeous and called Voyages of the sea. Each wall had a stunning hand painted Tibetan painting depicting the voyages of the sea. Everything is perfect including the Tibetan lamp, floor rug and cushions. It was an oasis to return there after the hustle and bustle of McLeod Ganj whilst being so close to everything. We were there for the Dalai Lama’s Long Life blessing. We saw him which a dream come true. His temple is only a hop, skip and jump from Chonor House. The staff at Chonor were so accomodating and kind. My husband sent his washing to be done and it came back perfectly washed and pressed. We are coming back to stay again as this is really just the most beautiful hotel. Thank you Chonor House.

Great location and beautiful view. Nice and clean rooms, good bed. Delicious food in their restaurant (ordered meals to my room couple of times). Very-very-very (!) helpful and friendly staff. Close to main street with lots of restaurants and to the Namgyal Monastery (HH Dalai Lama's temple).
