Room we were eventually allocated( fault of Booking.com) .again the terrace we booked , eventually was huge and private.. seemed to be all new. Half board was excellent…. Choice always…… local produce… portion size huge. Private parking excellent Overall , brilliant value for money and a central location for touring Southern Salento.

Just a 15-minute drive from Otranto, Sanlu Hotel is in Serrano just off state road SP48. It offers free indoor parking, free Wi-Fi and brunch served until 12:00.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The most incredible location! In the heart of the old town but still lovely and quiet in the apartment. I was a little unsure of what to expect with this place as there weren’t many reviews and you had to click an external link to view the check in details, but it was totally fine. Great check in- Franzi greeted us and helped us with luggage and where to park the car. The property also gets cleaned every couple of days with fresh sheets too. Lovely. Big comfy bed, a big bathroom for old town standards. Very cosy and sweet. And did I mention the location!? Incredible!
