The hotel is located in a very special place, in a fortress, in a small town in the mountains. From the window of the room there was a fabulous view of the city and the mountains. During our visit, the weather was rainy, so we could watch the clouds moving under our feet all the time through the window. Great view. The staff was very friendly. In addition, a very picturesque road leads to the hotel. I recommend it.

Amazing hotel to stay at close to the springs, there is a private walkway down, and the hotel has its own hot pool. The family are so lovely here and provided us with recommendations for our drive to Rome which we really appreciated, great breakfast and coffee each morning. The rooms are great and they take real pride in their hotel, which shows. Highly recommend.

I have to say i’m not easily impressed but the Ciavatta Hotel really delivered. Location and the true Tuscany experience was felt and the staff is amazing. Our kid loved it.

Hosts Angela and Enrico were very welcoming and informative. We opted to have the meals during our stay, they were superb and Angela took time to explain what was in the food, so were learned quite a lot. So as well as enjoying Enrico's excellent cooking, we came away with some tips!

Set in a green valley in the Maremma area of Tuscany, Hotel Scilla is part of an ancient hamlet inside Sovana's historic centre. It features extensive gardens and a restaurant.

I was free upgraded in Hotel Sovana, which is from the same owner, while the first reservation in Hotel Scila was full. Absolutely fabulous place in historical town, with colorful garden, surrounded with olive trees and wineyards. Breakfast delicious and very reach. Stuff very kind. It is a super point on the top of hills, u can reach nearby must seen Pitigliano, Sorano and enjoy Saturnia termal cascade.
