The breakfast was great ...a lot of choice. There is also an outside area, so you can choose to eat it there..lovely ambient with nice background music :) Next to the hotel there is also a walking path (our dog enjoyed it) to the hill with a church on the top and marvelous view on the Como lake. Out stay there was great.

Our hosts, the hotel owners, were so friendly and accommodating. When we said we had to leave early the following morning they even arranged for breakfast to be left for us (at 4am!) and were responsive and helpful with any other questions regarding the property. Lovely family hotel with very welcoming hosts.

    We stayed here 2 nights. We were in Room 106, beautiful room with a huge veranda/ balcony overlooking the lake. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Valmadrera is peaceful and a great location to visit the hustle of Bellagio and Como and then return to a more relaxed vibe that Valmadrera offers.
