It's a bit remote from Volterra, so you can not really go there by foot as we thought:-) However, the location is still nice with great and very helpful personnel. We enjoyed it a lot, thank you for welcoming us!

You can admire beautiful views across the Tuscan hills at Albergo Villa Nencini, located just 500 metres from the centre of Volterra. It offers a large garden with swimming pool.

It was located just outside the old walled city of Volterra on a steep hill. Glorious views over the Tuscan countryside. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was an assortment of cereals, eggs, cheese, ham, breads yoghurts etc alongside pastries. The pool was a good size with lots of seating/ sun beds around to relax.

Located in the centre of San Gimignano, Hotel Bel Soggiorno offers large rooms and an on-site restaurant serving typical Tuscan dishes. The Chianti wine area is just 20 km away.

Best location in San Gimignano! Right in the center of everything. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I would come back 100%. We booked the room with window view and it was awesome!

Hotel Sovestro is surrounded by pine trees, vineyards and olive trees, just 1.5 km from San Gimignano's towers. It features 2 swimming pools, a free gym and typical restaurant.

The Hotel Sovestro is a lovely family ran hotel, all the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was one of the cleanest hotelsI I have ever stayed in, amazing for a 3-star rated hotel. The breakfast was an Italian style breakfast, all the cakes and pastries, you would expect. But also, the cold meat, cheeses and eggs were plentiful and excellent. There was also a good variety of fruit, nuts and yogurts. The breakfast was excellent. There is a shuttle minibus that runs at certain times from the hotel to San Gimignano I would be happy to stay in Hotel Sovestro again.

Housed in an elegant, 14th-century building La Cisterna is set in a picturesque, namesake square in the heart of San Gimignano.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, only 10 minutes walk from the centre of San Gimignano. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything super clean. The family are very warm and welcoming, happy to give advice on things to do and see. Absolutely recommended!
