This hotel has been one of the best we’ve stayed at in Kyoto. Not only is the location great, but the staff also go out their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable, great beds, excellent bathroom. Not too spatious but ok for a family of four. Washing machine and dryer on every floor. Located in a quirt neighborhood, 5-10min walking distance from subway or bus.

Perfect stay in this hotel. The staff very polite and helpful. The room very comfortable and clean. It was actually a bit bigger than I expected it to be :D I also like their way of economical cleaning, if you need any toiletries, like cotton pads etc, you can easily grab from the reception!

Eveything! The location is perfect, the rooms are stylish and very comfortable (amazing pillows!!), and we really enjoyed the onsen :) There’s water dispensers and washing+drying machines which are very convenient. We also appreciated the fact that they kept our luggage before check-in and after check-out. All in all a great value for money. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel because we found it too expensive (2200¥ per person) - maybe it would have been cheaper when booked together with the room? But we managed with the nearby shops such as Caffe Veloce, Hollys and Family mart.

    Good value for money and location. Note that there are two Piece Hostels in Kyoto - make sure to check which one you’ve booked (i.e. Sanjo) before walking there! The staff were very accommodating and it feels more like a budget hotel than a hostel if you book a room with a private bathroom. The only difference is really not having a TV or view, but these were worthy sacrifices if you’re just looking for a centrally located place to sleep. Clean.
